You'll find endless uses for these fabulous baskets; great for laundry, toys, towels, magazines or anything else you can think of.

Created by womens' self-help groups in a drought-prone area of rural India. Made entirely by hand from cotton and high quality, naturally dyed jute and finished with smart leather handles.
Includes cotton liner in natural.

Baskets available in small, medium or large and in a varitey of colours - blue/natural, green/natural, black/natural and pink/natural.

In matching colours also available are our thick cotton cushion covers and dhari rugs.

The producers are part of a collective that has promoted many craft-based, sustainable livelihood projects for women who have previously depended upon seasonal wage labour and migration to cities for work.

As well as providing livelihoods, working in the self-help groups gives women practical and emotional support.

A local area initiative that nourishes the local environment and community utilising natural materials such as jute, cotton, banana and leather.
