This beautiful range of cushions combines India’s rich heritage of handmade textiles with a Scandinavian eye for colour and design. Each cushion takes approximately 6 hours to hand embroider, using an ancient and beautiful form of ‘crewel’ embroidery that uses wool to create a raised design on a cotton background.
The Himalayan mountains have a rich tradition in this embroidery, with expert skills passed down through generations. It is there, in Kashmir, that these covers have been painstakingly crafted to a Swedish design.
All embroidery uses the highest quality New Zealand wool, dyed with eco-friendly ‘azo-free’ dyes.
A handmade product; any imperfections are part of its beauty.
